Award Winning Wedding Photographers
We are documentary style professional wedding photographers based in North East Hampshire, so in easy reach of all of the Berkshire wedding venues. With over ten years experience photographing weddings our wedding photography is all about natural moments. We take amazing photos, but we don’t pose our couples, unless it’s for a family or guest group photo. For the majority of the wedding day, we simply blend into the background, so that you can relax and enjoy your day, without thinking about the wedding photos we are there to capture. Our unobtrusive approach to wedding photography, really suits couples who do not like their picture taken.
Wedding Photographer in Berkshire?
I’ve always had a soft spot for Berkshire, as I was born in the county many years ago. When Abingdon was still the county town, before they changed the boundary lines in 1974. Having grown up in that area, many of the local towns feel very familiar when I visit for weddings. So I feel like a Berkshire wedding photographer even though we’re based just over the border in North East Hampshire. All the Berkshire wedding venues are in easy reach, normally less than an hours drive from our home.

Carol also has her fair share of wedding photography awards too, she’s an amazing wedding photographer in her own right. If you’d like something more than average wedding photography, to remember your special day by, then get in touch. We’d love to hear from you and chat about your plans for your wedding day.
Berkshire Wedding Venues
This is a small selection photos from some of our Berkshire weddings over the last ten years. We hope it may provide some inspiration for your own unique wedding day. If we haven’t shot at your venue before, don’t worry, it really doesn’t matter. With 10 years experience shooting weddings, we know how to take great wedding pictures wherever we shoot.
Wedding Photography for people who don’t want to pose
Less posing also means we have more time to capture real moments. Which is why most couples book us, because they leave our natural wedding photography. Get in touch if you’d like to know if we’ve shot at your wedding venue before. We don’t blog all of our weddings, so just because you can’t find any images on the website, doesn’t mean we’ve not worked at the venue before. Also, importantly, if I’m honest, it really doesn’t make that much difference to a wedding photographer how many times they’ve been to a wedding venue before. The best places to shoot at any venue are where the action is. As we won’t ever ask you to move on your wedding day, we have to work with what we have. If you are stood in a dark corner, then it’s our job to make that look good. We’re not there to tell you to stand somewhere else, because it would make a better photo. That’s not what good documentary photography is about. A good wedding photographer can asses the scene quickly and work with it. That’s where the years of experience of a professional photographer really matter.
We do love to shoot a few couple portraits at weddings, but we never force them on anyone. It’s always a couples choice as to how long they’d like to spend on portraits. We would generally recommend around 15-20 minutes, but if you want to spend more or less time, that’s totally your decision. The same goes for group photos. We shoot them at nearly every wedding, all we would suggest, based on our years of experience, is that you keep them to a minimum, so that your family and guests don’t spend the drinks reception waiting to be in a group photo.
